Abstract

This article takes as its central axis the Restructuring Program of the Federal University Hospitals (REHUF). More specifically, sought to grasp the new proposal to restructure the federal university hospitals and identify the model behind this proposal. The changes that are being proposed to the health services management systems have increasingly demanded more decisive and appropriate action to the current reality is becoming vital to learn how to develop and plan new strategies. This article discusses important aspects of the model of health services, here understood as a set of activities whose primary purpose is to promote, restore and mantain the health of the population.
